OUR POSITION

Natural origin is only the starting point.

A bio-based feedstock does not automatically make a material sustainable. Its chemistry, manufacturing efficiency, performance, use level and end-of-life behaviour all matter.

Greenitio therefore works across the complete material pathway: selecting a renewable polymer backbone, engineering useful functionality, transferring the process to commercial scale and building the evidence needed for responsible customer claims.

Greenitio’s personal-care platform begins with fungal chitosan derived from oyster mushrooms rather than crustacean shells or a petrochemical polymer backbone.

Our functionalisation approach is designed around aqueous processing, efficient chemistry and practical purification—reducing process complexity while creating application-relevant functionality.

Design for real-world scale

Sustainability must survive scale-up. Greenitio develops processes that can transfer into established manufacturing infrastructure and commercially relevant production.

Evaluate the complete formulation

Material choice, use level, performance, process compatibility and the wider ingredient system all influence the final outcome. We assess sustainability and performance in application context.
